This Emmy-award nominated spot combines nostalgia and modern day programming elements for a big emotional impact. Speaking to all viewers who are curious, adventurous, and joyful, this piece was an honor to work on and a true testament to the power of “Be More”.
Shot in Los Angeles to launch the second season of Better Call Saul, this fiesta of sound design, natural sound and shifting ambiences is the perfect companion to Vince Gilligan’s custom score. Audio creates an extra dimension to this seamless one-shot video.
Hockey fans may know the players ON the ice, but in this promotion for the “Road to the Winter Classic,” they get to hear who they are OFF the ice. Shot in Boston and Montreal, the audio production may be the only time these two teams play nicely together.
Engineer and Sound Designer
Todd has used his creative ear to mix and develop sound design for ABC, Staples, ESPN, Bud Light, New Balance, HBO, Hasbro, Applebees, NBC Sports, Wendy’s, Microsoft and HGTV.
In 2008 Todd decided to head back to New England where he grew up. Prior to joining Dog Ear Sound (a Viewpoint Creative company), Todd worked in New York City as a sound engineer for Hothead, Sound Hound and the NBC Olympics. His Emmy-Award winning sounds range from TV commercials and entertainment promos to radio spots and long form documentaries. He is a master with VO talent and makes sure you have everything you need for an outstanding session.
He has an amazing ability to blend creative sound with superior quality for each and every project he touches. To impact the listener on an emotional level is the closest thing to his childhood dream of being a rock star. He loves every minute of “making lots of noise for everyone to enjoy.”
DogEarSound is Highly professional...and with a welcoming atmosphere that's conducive to writers, producers and talent creating their best work!
